My older son was born with an orthopedic anomaly that required a series of casts and orthotics for the first 6 months of his life, which unfortunately kept us indoors most of the time. Music Together^® was a haven for both of us after the treatment period ended. We got together with kids his age and with parents my age, so it was more than just a musical activity, it was a small community of people who got together once a week and enjoyed making music and singing in a circle of friendship.

I remember listening to Music Together songs at home, in the car, or even when visiting grandparents, so it became a daily joyful routine. My son participated in Music Together for six semesters. Because of Music Together, music has been in his life from an early age, and because of that exposure, he now plays the piano and enjoys music on a different level.

I highly recommend Music Together to all children, parents, and even grandparents, as it not only provides a pathway to a greater interest in music in later stages of a child’s life, but also creates a “village” that supports the education of children and parents in a safe and joyful environment.

We had the pleasure of having Tül as our son’s Music Together teacher from the time he was just 1.5 years old. He attended her classes for two years, during which her incredible talent, patience, and kindness created a joyful and nurturing environment that fostered a deep love for music in him. Music Together’s engaging curriculum of songs, dance, and rhythms provided a fantastic foundation in music education, encouraging active participation and family involvement.

My son, Bora was 2 years old when we met with Tül. He was a sweet, naughty baby boy who seemed to enjoy music a lot. During our lessons in Music Together with Tül, Bora was not just enjoying music, but also exploring his taste and also ability in music. Everytime he had the chance to choose an instrument, it was mostly a drum by which he began to perform as a little drummer. We have been together with Tül in Music Together classes for almost 2 years. Every lesson was joyful, and Bora was waiting for his classtime throughout the whole week with excitement. After Tül left Turkey for her education in abroad, Bora began to take drum lessons at the age of 4. His passion for drums which he explored during his time with Tül, never ceased and now at the age of 9, he still enjoys playing drums. He is not the “baby boy drummer” anymore, but the “little handsome guy” who plays drums in school events regularly. Thank you Tül for your gentle effort and guidance to Bora :)

We first joined Music Together about ten years ago in Istanbul when my son turned one, and we continued for two wonderful years.

We have so many great memories from those music circles. They were filled with joy, dancing, singing, and playing instruments however we wanted, without any pressure. It was a fantastic way to socialize with other families. We loved singing and acting out different songs from all sorts of genres, and Tül made everything even more fun with her endless energy and amazing way of connecting with the little ones through actions and playful activities.

Even after eleven years, we still have our Music Together CDs at home, with the “Bongos” collection being our all-time favorite. We know all the songs by heart and still sing them together. I really believe that Music Together and Tül sparked a love for music in our son, which is still a big part of his life today.
